1974 Morris Mini Clubman - Complete with Fitted A Frame for Motorhome Towing
Daily driver, 1974 Morris Mini Clubman with matching numbers, complete with a professional A frame for easy towing behind a camper van (this cost £3500 alone). Supplied with 12 months MOT, road tax and clean air zone exempt.
(a) Behind the Wheel
Firing first-time, settling into a beautiful rhythm, behind the wheel you feel like a seventies rally driver, prodding the accelerator produces the feeling of raw power, combining 1000cc with just 600kg of weight with that legendary, Monte Carlo rally-winning classic Mini handling, she is terrific and/or terrifying to drive.
Fuelled by the classical carburettor, she whisks you back to the seventies, the sounds, the smells, the roar of her vintage specification performance exhaust.
Driving her semi-daily, she’s been faultless, all gears engage effortlessly, she’s supplied with 12 months MOT and no advisories, a new clutch, newish rear subframe, new tyres and a comprehensive service (engine, brakes, gearbox, cooling system) for your peace of mind. We’ve even had her professionally tuned by a well-known engine tuning company to optimise her power.
(b) Remarkably Original
Unlike most Clubman’s, she retains her original early shell, her original matching numbers engine, she has all of those charming early and original features. She’s never been involved in an accident.
Upgrades do include her quick release security steering wheel and those wider stanced, deeper dished, refurbished yet period Revolution alloy wheels, surrounded by wider rally arches and off course the 1275GT stickers are iconic, but not original.
(c) Free Road Tax, Free ULEZ, No MOT Required
Road tax is free, saving you circa £260 per year. Clean air zones are exempt, saving you a fortune. MOT’s aren’t strictly required, however we have MOT’d her for your peace of mind.
(d) Motorhome A Frame Equipped
Equipped with a professionally fitted A Frame towing system for shows and motorhome use, she’s hooked or unhooked in moments, tows effortlessly at 60mph.
Complete with all accessories, the light bar, the pop-off rear number plate, electrical plug-in and padlocks, she’s ready to tow.
Costing £3500, if you don’t need this it could be sold for a tidy sum.

Remembering the period when 600,000 Mini Clubman’s were produced, it’s hard to believe that only circa 1000 remain.
